Overview
Mixory Bundles ("we", "us", "our") is a Shopify app that helps merchants create product bundles on their storefront. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how merchants can contact us.
By installing Mixory Bundles from the Shopify App Store, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect Through Shopify's APIs
When you install Mixory Bundles, we access your Shopify store through Shopify's official APIs. Depending on the permissions you grant, we may collect:
- Store information: Shop name, store URL (
*.myshopify.com), email address, timezone, currency, and plan type. - Product data: Product titles, descriptions, images, variants, prices, and inventory levels — used to configure and display bundles.
- Order data: Anonymized order line items used to power Frequently Bought Together recommendations. We do not store customer names, emails, or shipping addresses from orders.
- Discount data: Bundle discount rules created and managed through the app.
We request only the OAuth scopes required to operate:
- read_products — display products in bundle configuration
- write_discounts — apply bundle discounts at checkout
- read_orders — anonymized AI recommendation training
- read_script_tags / write_script_tags — inject bundle widgets on your storefront
Information We Collect Directly From Merchants
In addition to data from Shopify's APIs, we may collect:
- Contact details: Your name and email address when you contact support, submit the contact form, or correspond with us about billing or privacy requests.
- Support communications: Messages, attachments, and details you voluntarily provide when requesting help.
- App configuration: Bundle settings, widget preferences, styling choices, and analytics filters you set inside the app.
- Usage logs: Automated logs of app usage (e.g. feature interactions, errors, and performance events) tied to your store — not to your customers.
We do not ask merchants for information about their customers beyond what Shopify's APIs provide.
Information We Collect From Merchants' Customers
Mixory Bundles is designed to minimize customer data collection:
- Storefront widgets: Bundle widgets on your online store do not set cookies or use tracking technologies on customers' browsers.
- No direct collection: We do not collect customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details directly from your customers.
- Aggregate analytics only: We log aggregate, non-identifying events such as bundle impressions, add-to-cart actions, and completed bundle orders — attributed to your store, not to individual shoppers.
- Order data: When we access order data via Shopify's APIs for AI recommendations, we use anonymized product-pairing data only. We do not retain customer personal information from orders.
How We Use the Information We Collect
We use collected data solely to provide and improve the Mixory Bundles service:
- Render and manage bundle widgets on your storefront
- Apply bundle discounts through Shopify's native checkout
- Generate AI-powered product recommendations
- Display analytics in the Mixory Bundles admin dashboard
- Process billing through Shopify's billing system
- Send transactional emails (billing receipts, app notifications)
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Improve app reliability, security, and performance
We do not use your data or your customers' data for advertising, profiling, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the app.
How Long We Store or Retain Data
- While installed: Store data, bundle configuration, and analytics are retained for as long as Mixory Bundles is installed on your shop.
- After uninstall: We begin deleting your store's data within 30 days of uninstallation. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
- Support records: Support emails and correspondence are retained for up to 2 years to resolve disputes and improve service.
- Billing records: Transaction records required for accounting and tax purposes may be retained for up to 7 years, as required by applicable law.
- Aggregate analytics: Fully anonymized, non-identifying analytics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
International Data Processing
Established in Europe: Mixory Bundles is not established in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom.
Processing outside your region: Your data may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States and/or the European Union, depending on our hosting providers. When data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to protect your data.

Data Sharing and Sub-processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share data only with sub-processors necessary to operate the service:
- Hosting & infrastructure: Cloud providers for application hosting and database storage
- Email: Transactional email provider for billing and support communications
- Shopify: As required to deliver the app through the Shopify platform
We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Mixory Bundles, our users, or the public.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about your store
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your store's data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to certain types of processing
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances

If you are an EU or UK resident and believe we have not addressed your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies and Tracking
The Mixory Bundles admin dashboard uses cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the admin app.
Bundle widgets on your storefront do not set cookies on your customers' browsers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the Mixory Bundles admin dashboard and updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
